St. Simon’s Island
- Hey everybody! My family and I just finished up a few days of R&R at St. Simon’s Island. It is really a beautiful place to visit. We spent our time walking down the beach, playing in the ocean, cruising the island on a golf cart, and enjoying God’s beautiful creation. We are on our way back now. Desirae, Selina & I were talking and one of my favorite sayings came to mind. “Unapplied Truth Is Like Unapplied Paint It Doesn’t Do Anyone Any Good!!! The Value Of Paint Is In The Application!!” We are taught so many truths from the Bible that we seriously need to apply to our lives each day. One of these truths that seems to ring so clearly in my mind today is the fact that we need to truly trust God in every situation. That is so easy to say…but is so difficult to do when you find yourself in a challenging situation. But TRUTH doesn’t change because of the situations that we may find ourselves in. God declares in the scriptures that His hearts desire is for us to continually lean on Him for our strength, help and hope. If we continually lean on Him we will never be disappointed. So I guess what I am trying to say is to make sure that you keep your ladder leaning on God’s wall and He will never let you fall.
